Richard H. Hein

Chief Investment Sourcing Officer

Richard H. Hein has worked since 1986 as a senior manager for The Banc Funds. Functionally, Mr. Hein is the Chief Investment Sourcing Officer.  His responsibilities include analyzing investment proposals, structuring and arranging private placements, identifying and negotiating the purchase and sale of blocks of bank stock, and winding up Funds.  Mr. Hein has also assisted in bank financial statement analysis, worked with portfolio company managers, and helped supervise the administration of the nine Funds.  From 1978 to 1986, Mr. Hein worked for Michigan Avenue National Bank of Chicago as a vice president, controller, and cashier.  He has degrees from DePaul University (B.A. and M.B.A.) and is a certified public accountant.
